Directions to Stoke Mandeville Stadium

Stoke Mandeville Stadium is located one and a half miles from Aylesbury town centre and situated directly behind Stoke Mandeville Hospital (both the hospital and stadium are within the town of Aylesbury).

By Car

Road sign for Scaleforum

If travelling by car note that there are sign boards on all approach roads into Aylesbury indicating that the stadium can be found by following the standard A&E hospital road signs. In addition there will be special Scaleforum direction signs posted within the last mile of your journey.

Car Parking

Free parking for Scaleforum visitors is available at Stoke Mandeville Stadium. Although there are signs indicating that parking is limited to three hours, the number plate recognition cameras will be switched off during Scaleforum. Additional free parking will also be available in one of the car parks in the adjacent hospital site; accessed via the stadium. Stewards will be on hand to direct you.

The roads around the stadium are residential. Should you park there we would like to keep our neighbours happy so please abide with all road parking regulations, park safely and keep all access areas and driveways clear.

Travel to/from from London Marylebone via Amersham

On Saturdays trains depart from London Marylebone at 27 minutes and 57 minutes past each hour. The journey takes just under one hour.

Return trains from Aylesbury to London Marylebone depart from Aylesbury at 18 minutes and 48 minutes past each hour. The journey takes just over one hour.

On Saturdays trains depart from London Marylebone at 13 minutes past each hour. The journey takes just under one hour ten minutes

Buses depart from the town centre bus station located under the Friars Square shopping centre, five minutes walk from the railway station. To access the bus station exit from the railway station through the booking hall, turn right and walk up the slope. The bus station is in front of you on the other side of the dual carriageway road.

Route 9 - Arriva (Saturday only) This service departs from Bus Bay 4. Buses depart Aylesbury bus station at 05, 25 and 45 minutes past each hour; journey time 14 minutes. The return service departs Churchill Avenue at 04, 24 and 44 minutes past each hour until 1644, then at 1703, 1733 and 1759; journey time 17 minutes.

Route 300 - Arriva (Saturday & Sunday) This service departs from Bus Bay 7. On Saturday buses depart Aylesbury bus station at 05 and 35 minutes past each hour; journey time 7 minutes. The return service departs Churchill Avenue/Stadium Approach at 18 and 48 minutes past each hour until 1648, then at 1722, 1752 and 1817; journey time 11 minutes. The Sunday service is hourly departing Aylesbury bus station at 05 minutes past each hour; journey time 7 minutes. The return service departs Churchill Avenue/Stadium Approach at 41 minutes past the hour; journey time 10 minutes.

Route X30 - Arriva (Saturday only) This service departs from Bus Bay 7. Buses depart Aylesbury bus station at 1015, 1215 and 1415; journey time 7 minutes. The return service departs Churchill Avenue/Stadium Approach at 1158, 1358 and 1558; journey time 11 minutes.

Route 165: (Saturday Only) This service departs from Bay 1 and runs direct to the Stadium/Guttman Road leaving Aylesbury bus station at 10.22, 12.22 & 14.22 arriving at the stadium at 10.28, 12.28 & 14.28. Return times leave the Stadium/Guttman Road at 10.35, 12.35 & 14.35
