Port Forbes is a small port on the Fife coast circa 1900. It's a first go in P4 to test out my capabilities, or in some cases lack of them!
I have been encouraged to start on a larger effort, which I hope will be a retirement project.
I initially used three link couplings as I was put off AJs after reading how fine the measurements had to be, however after one exhibition with 3 links I was driven almost mad and so am converting stock to AJs thanks to the availability of various jigs for almost all aspects of their construction.
I should like to acknowledge the encouragement of Bob Hetherington and Jim Summers as without it Port Forbes would never have got off the ground.
