Spring on the Railway - It's early June and all the colours of spring abound by the railway.

Early Morning A1 - A Peppercorn A1 coasts into the early morning sun on a glorious summer's day in 1950. The A1 was out of the box, when this picture was taken; it is now mid conversion using a Bradwell chassis.

Off to the Quarry - A J39 ambles down the up main on its way to pick up the Hessle Quarry - Wilmington working. This is the second section of the layout, still very much under construction

Simmering in the sun - A scratchbuilt LNER T1 4-8-0 tank simmers under the sun on the up main line.

Waiting for the road - A J39 waits for the road, on the up main line out of Hull. The J39 is Bachmann but heavily rebuilt with new chassis, inside motion and new handrails, boiler bands, lamp irons, couplings, etc.
