Of brass and plastic

The Rumney Models range has some very fine temptations in it...

Justin Hewitt and his intelligent designs simply ask to be built. This is one of his LMS open wagon etches, Kit Ref #63. The Parkside sides have been added so we get the below.

More soon as the sides get detailed and a Rumney Models chassis enters stage left...

Autocorrect has plagued Justin's name... but otherwise looking good - nice jig building by the looks.

I will be in need (!) of a number of the various flavours of these so will be looking out for updates with interest :-)

This project had been stalled due to my inate dislike of soldering - I was badly burnt as a wee boy...
Having contrived to make a mess of the brake gear, sorry Justin, I have used some of Guy Rixon 's 3d brakes. With the correct adjustment, I have been rewarded with the correct look.
More soon as there is a motivation to kick on, Mostyn is out again soon on its travels

Another finished item, delayed by further health travails. Frustration abated finally...
