KAG Open Day

Postby Steve Carter » Sat Oct 22, 2016 7:04 pm

I spent a lovely day today in great company at Kent Area Groups Open Day held at their very swish new HQ.

It was good to see Eridge up and running and be able to chat and learn some new things.
That said the highlight for me had to be the wonderful cakes, yummy. Thank you ladies.

Simon Bass has taken photos and hopefully he will post a report in due course (hint Simon ;)

Good luck in your new home and I look forward to seeing Eridge progress.

Thanks again for a good day.

It was indeed a top event, superb premises, very welcoming hospitality, lots of friends to catch up with and great to see Eridge running very well indeed.

And the DRAG contingent arrived and departed by train as well!

I had an enjoyable time at the event although rather brief. and as Steve and Tim have mentioned it was good to Eridge coming along. KAG could possibly be the only area meeting in a functioning station although if I remember correctly the West of Scotland group meet underneath one! I am sure the layout will make good progress now and there is a provisional booking to bring it to Scaleforum in 2019 witnessed by our membership secretary no less! :D
