Picked up from the GERS List:
"One of the problems that has long beset modellers without specialist knowledge has been how to correctly add signalling to a layout. Now the modeller's problems could be at an end following the addition of a special section to a long-established internet signalling forum.
Known as 'The Signal Box' the forum numbers among its contributors members of the IRSE, RAIB, Network Rail, former signal engineers, the signalling Record Society and experts from a number of other organisations with specialist signalling knowledge. Several regular contributors are based overseas, so the forum can deal with enquiries regarding signalling on overseas railways as well as British practice, both past and present.
While it is possible to learn a certain amount from books, the advantage of this forum for modellers is that they will be able to ask questions about specific aspects of their own railway layouts, and tap into the vast store of detailed signalling knowledge that this forum represents.
Anyone with internet access can view the forum at:

Thanks Paul - I didn't realise a forum had been added to what was already a very useful site.
