Thanks.
For the 00 one I will be using Peco Bullhead where possible though. Still RT-Plonk track.....just a wee better than the H0. Not full blown fine-scale.
Will make some of it fine scale to a degree. In three minds about point rodding: Scratch with etches etc, DCC Concepts or Wills.
Defo doing something.
Will create another thread for it at some point I guess.
Updated track plan. Middle to be fiddle yard and alternate scenes etc

For point rodding, can I suggest that you have a look at the Modelu product, it's custom printed for the number of rods in the run at any given location. I'm not sure what the maximum is, but I suspect that you will not get to the maximum.

That sounds usefull, thanks. Will check Alan's stuff closer the time.
The hardest part 1st is drawing up a logical set of runs, cranks and compensators.
I brought some books on it and have an idea, yet like when I used to install data cables in buildings it seems similar in that various logics and 'run shapes' can be employed resulting in the same functional conclusion.
I do wonder if there were any die hard safety or function rules that had to be adhered to.
Once this is drawn out I'd then look to what product/s to use.

Have you got a copy of the point rodding book, published by the 2mm association? A very useful book.
