London Road Models temporary business disruption

Postby Jol Wilkinson » Sat Jun 23, 2018 8:39 am

Unfortunately, John Redrup is currently indisposed and awaiting an urgent operation. He is therefore regrettably unable to deal with any enquiries, orders, packing or despatch. As soon as he is fully recovered, and able to resume running London Road Models, notification will be posted in the News section of the Home page of the London Road Models website.

Yes, do please let him know there are many of us hoping he makes a full and speedy recovery (and not just for business reasons - one of the (few) things I miss from UK exhibitions is the chance to chat with him). Sending all the positive thoughts I can muster at short notice, more to follow when the optimists around me top up my reserves!

Any news on John, as the grapevine has gone quiet?
I do wish him well.

John's operation was planned for today, 16 July, in Watford General Hospital.. Based on my own experience he could be discharged tomorrow or Wednesday if all goes well. More news when I have it.

When we last spoke he said he hopes to be fully fit in time for the Autumn shows.

I spoke with John yesterday. His operation went well and he sounded cheerful. He has been told to stay "off work" for a week and also not to drive, so it will be a bit longer before normal service is restored.
