Etched Brass Numbers?
Does anyone make etched brass numbers suitable for Midland locos?

Not sure about Midland, but, in case they're much the same, Martin Finney did a fret to make up GW number plates. I know he's retired but he might have some left..

Have you looked here:http://narrowplanet.co.uk/? They have a wide variety of styles available and might be open to suggestions.

I used them on my 3F here - download/file.php?id=4918&mode=view

Thanks for the suggestons, and thanks Mark for pointing me at the right product. I had the feeling there was something out there but had no idea where to even start looking.
You appear to have soldered them on during construction. I think I will fix them on with dabs of varnish after painting.

Jon,
you're welcome, yup, I soldered the numbers on using an RSU, and simply rubbed them down after painting.
I have also used varnish with no problem.
