Bluebell Railway exhibition

Postby Terry Bendall » Mon Jun 19, 2017 7:33 am

The annual exhibition at the Bluebell Railway takes place this coming weekend, June 24th/25th on two sites at Horsted Keynes and Sheffield Park. In the carriage shed at Horsted Keynes this year Pulborough will be on show for the first time for about 7 years. For those who don't know Pulborough is a model of the town of that name in West Sussex as it was c1912, exactly to scale length and populated with the correct trains of the period running to a timetable based on one of the period.

Built by members of the original Mid Sussex group of the Society, Pulborough was constructed over 12 years from 1985 to 1997 and has been fully re-furbished for its re-appearance on the exhibition circuit.
