The Great Western has listings on hand on the ' GWR Modelling' website. See: http://www.gwr.org.uk/kits.html

The SECR Society has lists of products for several scales, all linked from a common page of modelling resources.

Thank you David and Guy.

I'm thinking that we need a list of lists...

I may pull all of these together when this thread dies a death, and put them in the "Where do I find?" section of the Forum.

Cheers

Here is a link to the Highland Railway Society's versions; although it is somewhat out of date.

Which seems a bit pointless if you are trying to attract people to modelling the Caledonian Railway.

So much of he esoteric stuff now available is the result of people making things for their own benefit and then making it available more widely. The Hollar wagon posters started this way, only becoming widely available after a fair bit of private circulation. I think the point here is that we need to be careful about posting carping criticism is that it may deter this process. Evidence of factual errors are one thing, But it is a bit dismal to criticise someone whose hard work will help fellow-modellers (including me, in this case) on the grounds that if you had the time you could have done it better.

The GERS is an excellent line society, with a Journal of such top class research and publishing standards that is is easy to forget that this is a body of volunteers. Everything the GERS produces results from people giving up their free time for the fun of it, and it should be judged on that basis. To paraphrase the classic WW1 cartoon

If you want a better catalogue of parts, go to it.

Tony
