Exactoscale wheel system

Postby mtaylor » Sun Feb 22, 2015 9:39 pm

I am building a chassis using Exactoscale wheel system, which, up to now I was pretty impressed with. However, I have just got to a stage where I need to remove the wheels on the driven axle but find that wheelset will not drop into the recess on the assembly/disassembly tool due to the presence of bearings and washers on the axle. It looks as if I will have to cobble together something so that I can use a drift to remove the wheel. This seems to be a bit Heath Robinson and after all the work that obviously went into the design of the system I would have thought there should be a better way but I can't see it? Has anyone else come across this problem and if so how was it resolved.
