Alan Gibson LSWR G6 0-6-0T instructions

Postby RAO » Tue Sep 06, 2022 10:48 am

I've got a very old Alan Gibson LSWR G6 0-6-0T etched kit, most parts I think are present with the exception of the boiler [which I assume was a brass tube]!

But sadly I have no instructions to check against, has anyone got a set of instructions that I could have a copy of?

Thank you

Have you got hold of the instructions? I have a set which i could scan if not. PM me an E Mail address.
The boiler is a piece of 18mm tube.

Thanks Andy

I PM'd you earlier today with my email address.

I need to see if I have any 18mm tube.

I'm really looking forward to building this kit.

Hi Roger

Email sent with instructions.
I have built one a while back, used CSB springing and 108-1 high level gearbox.
It runs well on our 'Clarendon' layout and will be seen at Scaleforum on 'Richmond'
Hope your build goes well.

Hi Andy

Just out of interest can you remember which High Level gear box you used? Also what motor did you manage to fit inside the boiler.

I might just go for simple compensation.
