GWR Journal index?

In my search for suitable period pictures to finish off a couple of GWR vanes (see question on this in the Wagons sub-forum), I started browsing through my copies of the GWR Journal for suitable articles on goods rolling stock.

It soon struck me that this was a bit of a waste of time, like trying to find a needle in a Middle Chrome Green haystack. So I thought that I would ask the obvious question...

Is anyone aware of an index to the articles published in the GWRJ?

There was the very handy Model Railway Journal index once upon a time. I admit to not being a close follower of matters Green Wirth Rivets, so there may be something very obvious out there. Can anyone help?

Cheers

Oddly enough a Google search for "GWR Journal index" takes you here http://www.gwrjournal.com/ as the top entry.

Thanks Keith! I must admit, that because I didn't recall one ever having been produced, I didn't think to do such a simple search. Doh!

Alas, there is nothing there - not of standard sized vans that that early anyway. But it's a useful resource to know about, and to bookmark.

Flymo,

If you put ‘Mink’ or ‘Wooden’ you will find a list of articles about the 16ft wooden vans from the early 1900’s or the modern vans from the 1930’s onwards.

Dave,

You're a star (and far more familiar with the contents of GWRJ than I am). I'd used "Mink" as a key word, thinking all GWR types spoke like that. It came up with mostly the large ones and the modern ones:

Bogie Van Mink F
Issue 37 (2001)
p.296
Photo and notes an Diag V1 No 79598
Tags: goods wagons, photos

In Close Up Water Crane
Issue 69 (2009)
p.276
two photographs of Tiverton Junction featuring a water crane and grounded 'Iron Mink'
Tags: grounded wagons, photos, water cranes / water tanks / water troughs

Large Minks
John Lewis

Issue 16 (1995)
p.699
Notes on: Minks C & G Dias V7 & V22
Tags: goods wagons, photos

Mink D
Issue 36 (2000)
p.232
Photograph of Diag V9
Tags: goods wagons, photos

Modern Minks
John Lewis
Issue 9 (1994)
p.393
Covers the 9'/17'6" minks to Diags V21 & V33. Includes drawings in each
Tags: drawings / diagrams, goods wagons, liveries

Modern Minks Part 2
John Lewis
Issue 10 (1994)
p.433
A detailed look at Minks to Dia V23, V24and V40
Tags: drawings / diagrams, goods wagons

Modern Minks Part 3
John Lewis
Issue 12 (1994)
p.520
Dia V26 Partos
Tags: drawings / diagrams, goods wagons

Modern Minks Part 4
John Lewis
Issue 14 (1995)
p.579
Covers dia V34, V36, V37, V38 & V39
Tags: drawings / diagrams, goods wagons

But putting in "wooden" brought up:

The GWR 16Ft Wooden-Bodied Covered Goods Wagons Part 2
John Lewis
Issue 63 (2007)
p.389
The early wagons not Diag'd, V4, V5 & V6
Tags: drawings / diagrams, goods wagons

That has one period photograph, but a lot of narrative explaining the original condition and subseqent changes. I'll read it in conjunction with the other books that I have, and see what sort of complete picture I find.
