Coopercraft Kits.

Postby Great Westen Man » Mon Apr 23, 2018 10:18 am

A replacement reconditioned machine is on order, and hopefully in the next few months the Coopercraft, Mailcoach and Kirk LNER coaches will start coming back out again. Also please note that the EM newsletter 216 is incorrect as the Kirk LNER kits haven't been sold, and will still form part of the Coopercraft range of kits.

I was puzzled by this news, until I looked at RM Web, where there is extensive discussion on this topic.

And ordering anything by the Coopercraft website is very much at your own risk.

No mention of the Slaters range which supposedly has returned to Slaters according to RMWeb

There's no current indication of any kits at all in 4mm on their website https://www.slatersplastikard.com/

The last correspondence I had on the matter was as follow:-

From: slaters@slatersplastikard.com
Subject: Re: 4mm wagon kits

To: Tim Lee <tim@leefitzgerald.co.uk>

Dear Tim

We are just sorting out the instructions and the wheels at the moment.

Kind regards

David White

David,

I wondered if you might be able to give any update on progress with the 4mm wagon range?

Slater's open wagons, PO and MR, are already available from Powsides at decidedly sub-Ebay prices. They are tucked away under the heading 4mm scale undecorated kits on the website. I've bought some and the service from Powsides was very good.

Hope that helps
