Wagon tie bars
I am looking for the most convenient source of metal strip for fitted wagon tie bars. Not sure how wide they are. Any suggestions please?

Re: Wagon tie bars
I use 0.8mm L section from Eileen's. The real thing isn't an L normally but you can't really see it and it's nice and rigid.

Re: Wagon tie bars
http://cambrianmodels.co.uk/accswheels.html about half way down the page. Prices http://cambrianmodels.co.uk/wagon_kits.html under "accessories".
I haven't tried them, but they look OK and include the bolt detail.
Otherwise, for metal sections, probably https://eileensemporium.com/ as Jim says.

Cambrian do an etched version which includes a representation of the w-iron bolts. Product code C45 for 10' wb wagons

I bought some at S4N but haven't used them yet. They measure up at 0.9mm width.

Thank you for your suggestions Gentlemen
I was at the Epsom show yesterday and managed to purchase some 0.8 mm L section from Eileen's but I will also try the Cambrian product when I get around to it. Regards
