Ultrascale are the 'locked' ones, by means of a groove on the inside of the tyre, and the centre is moulded into the tyre. AG wheels have a separately moulded centre which is just pressed into the tyre.

Hmm, that gives me ideas ... since I have a load of EM AGs that I no longer require, I'll try pressing off the tyres and see how easy it is to reduce/reprofile them.

Ironically, this has the effect of a Gibson ring on the full-size wheel, something that the AG wheels lack.
