Hmm, fair enough.
I think I'll stick to Gibson's for now.
I struggle on with them fine as my latest video's (ep 5) show but it no doubt isn't the correct or best way of doing things and you pull the wheels out of concentricity sometimes. I tease them back and it is a fiddle but there you go - I get there in the end.
I think Gibson wheels look better too.
I'm actually thinking of making my own wheel puller. After seeing what it is it looks easy so I may bodge my own. Unsure on a presser though.

Knuckles,
if you mean a press to put wheels on to axles, you could try this for starters. It's from the excellent Allan Goodwillie series on scratch building a loco. The materials required are earlier in the postings.

I've got both a GW wheel puller and a GW wheel press. The latter I find indispensible. The former I find pretty useless, at least with Gibson wheels.

It works very well if you put a slotted disc behind the wheel so that you do not pull on the rim, something I would recommend with any make of wheel.

Re: wheel Puller
Thanks you three. I'll check out that link.
If I do manage to get through to G W Models I'll likely buy both items.
How much we looking at for the both of them roughly? I only ask as I'm unemployed currently.
I haven't a catalogue but I found his number.

Ah sweet, many thanks. I can do that.
If I can get ahold of him that is!
Keep trying.
