Replacement Chimneys & Cabs

Postby Knuckles » Wed Mar 11, 2015 5:40 pm

Hello all. I was wandering if you could help me.

I've literally spent hours and hours and been looking several days on and off for some castings. White metal or Brass or plastic will do - it matters not, although brass would be preference.

Basically, I need some spare's for the Gresley Pacifics, specifically the A1 or A3 chimney/funnel. Either will do but the earlier higher and fatter one I'd prefer. The same goes for the cabs, I need some of the earlier higher type ones.

Most of this is for conversions I'm doing but the chimney is very much needed first as the plastic one melted off years ago when the smoke generator was left on too long!

Any help would be great. :thumb

Look under the bits for LNER locos. Just had my first lot of brass turned chimneys which are exquisite.

Sweet, thanks Mike.

A3 chimney will do. Still never seen a larger original A1 type though.

Still no idea on the cabs but I can crack on now - will give 'em a ring tomorrow prob's.

Thankyou. :)
