Last month we were pleased to welcome Ted and Tony of CLAG to our meeting. Ted bought along the evidence of his experiments in radio control - it was rather weird to see a P4 WD 2-8-0 wandering across a pub table, with no trackwork anywhere is sight. Maybe next time I will take along a metre of P4 track so it has a chance to strut its stuff. Paul bought along something new, as usual - this time a set of four open wagons, made from etched kits.
December's meeting is unusual in being on a Wednesday (11th) when show and tell will be replaced by drink and eat, it being our Christmas meal together.
The next regular meeting will be on Thursday 9th January 2020 (another decade gone - aaarghhh!) when we will return to the normal show and tell format. Excitement is growing over the forthcoming spot-on(ish) challenge.
