AJ and Buffer Height Gauge

Postby Brian Pearce » Fri Sep 13, 2019 11:40 am

Does anyone know if this gauge, produced by Morgan Gilbert in 2008, is still available and if so where from? It was a brass etch which folded up and could be formed for use in OO, EM or P4.

I think your description is actually after the buffer gauge that is held by the stores?

Even more scary Morgan, is that the 70th anniversary of Alex's death is not that far away. For a coupling that raises such diverse views in the hobby it's taking a long time to settle down quietly!!

Just checked my copy of MRN June 1950 - the coal tank article still provides inspiration.
