Thanks again Bob - I've just placed an order :-)

And just to post a belated thanks, and a recommendation. I used the same Ebay supplier that you did. I placed the order on Thursday evening, and the tufnol popped through my letterbox on Saturday.

Good quality and excellent service. Now I just have to make the transfer of my Gauge.

Finally got round to putting my gauge together,
Having gone for the Tufnol Carp, with a few offcuts of card under one end to get the gradient the only other change to the instructions was to use double sided tape to fix the gauge to the Tufnol (mostly because the screws I have would have fouled against the gear on smaller diameter Ultrascales.

A bit of experimenting this evening with a bag of wheels from most of the main manufacturers along all of which had been set to gauge with my Exactoscale back to back, showed that 70% of those tested were too wide.
I going to be needing to do a lot more checks on the rest of my stock I think.

I also tried testing a long wheelbase van with the wheels insitue, in this case they were too tight and stopped before the line, but the test worked very well!

Thanks for making this design available!
