'Bankside' lives!

Postby Steve Carter » Tue Aug 25, 2015 9:24 pm

After a lot of effort designing, building and installing the electrics for our new Group layout ‘Bankside’ we connected to the power supply for the first time last night. It all went well and therefore the first locomotive has run on ‘Bankside’.

Check out the videos of this grand event –

You will be able to see it 'in person' as it will be one of the attractions in the 'Electronics and Control'' section of 101 Not Out on 12th March!

Would it be possible to post a track plan of Bankside? As I live around the corner I would like to get an idea of what is planned.

Hi Tim

Bankside was displayed as part of the AGM in 2014 and several photos were taken including one of the track plan. Have a look here -

Hope this helps?
