The group regularly goes out for curries, seen here on Richard Lane's birthday bash at the former Miners Arms in Farrington Gurney. The WAGs and SPROGs curry
night On the left is the former window where you could buy your train tickets. The Great Western had an ticket agent in the pub.

A contingent of Bristol group members will be going to the Warley show on the Sunday, hopefully see other members there.
We may also be going for a curry afterwards in nearby Birmingham.

Those interested in God's Wonderful Railway may care to visit the GWSG stand. I shall be there on the Sunday and anyone visiting the GSWG stand will be given a warm welcome (even if you don't model the GWR - we're very broad-minded!)

I was very tempted to add a quip on these broad lines myself as soon as I read what I had written.
But the GWR also ran lines with gauges of 1' 11.5", 2'3" and 2'6" (so does that make them narrow-minded as well?)

Re: Upcoming events
Which is rather straying from the point that the Warley show does have a broad appeal....
