[Wizard of the Moor]

The Tees, Ouse, Esk & Rye Area Group (TOERAG) is a relatively young area group, having been formed in 2005. As may be deduced from the name, the group's membership covers a wide area from York in the south to Hartlepool in the north.

Meetings are held in members homes, usually on the afternoon of the second Sunday in the month. We also hold working days occasionally, sometimes a get-together for general modelling and sometimes devoted to a specific topic or work on a layout.

TOERAG members contributed two layouts to the Diesel & Electric Layout Challenge at Scaleforum 2008 - Awrhyllgwami Quarry and Waterloo Street. Interests within the group range from Great Western broad gauge to modern freight operations in Aberdeen.
