Fylde Area Group (November 2014)

Postby mike_t_norris » Mon Dec 08, 2014 11:37 am

The 20th November saw another good meeting with eight members present, adding my apologies for this late post.

There were a few visiting locomotives, with a fine Highland Ben, on a test run after visiting the workshops of John James, destined for the layout of Mark Tatlow. This was followed by Richards 3F with a couple of Tony’s wagons, probably a suitable load for the engine! Then Richards Jinty and a BR Mk1 modified with Palatine MJT conversion, which performed well. It must be said that almost every one of Richard’s engine run well with no derailments.

Our next meeting will be on Thursday 11th December at 19:30 at The Anchor Lostock Hall where I will be giving a brief talk of this years railway visits, followed by Hotpot and Apple Pie and Cream, a suitable start to the Christmas period.
