Inaugural ribbon-breaking ceremony on TT2

Postby Captain Kernow » Tue May 10, 2011 8:19 pm

Last night at DRAG, we held the official 'opening' of TT2, with five trains running at the same time on each of the five circuits (4 x P4 and 1 x OO). With other stock lined up on the loops as well, the 'start line' looked most impressive!

Here is the inevitable YouTube footage...

Reason: Edited to add the BBcode tags to the links, especially the Youtube tags. (The BBcode tags are added using the buttons above the composition window, Keith.

Well done, chaps.

I did enjoy the YouTube. You could start a 'Name that Midriff' competition. Ideas for prizes?

(Sorry Keith, I don't know how to do that clever putting of direct YouTube image into the text!)

Tim,
when you are composing your message there is a row of buttons along the top of the window, these are used to create the tags, the youtube button is at the right hand end. Hover your curser over the button and a message appears explaining what to do. In this case, click the button and the tags appear in your message, insert the last bit of the url between the tags, ie just the bit after v=.
Or you can do it the other way round, like I just did to edit your message, paste the youtube url like you did before, then highlight the part after v= and click on the youtube button, this will inset the tags. Finally delete the redundant section of the url from outside the tags. Much quicker to do than describe.
Regards
Keith
