Rummaging through my 'maturing box' of kits, I came across a couple I bought many years ago of horse drawn railway drays from Pendon Products - so many years ago that they were priced at £1.50. They are cast in white metal (very clean and crisp) and even have transfers. The horse in particular is very well cast with detail of the harness very clear.
Pendon no longer produce these kits (ref: PP.15), nor does the helpful lady at Pendon know what happened to them. Does anyone know if they can be found under some other guise? If anyone has any and wishes to raise some funds, please let me know as I would like a few more.

Re: Horse drawn delivery dray
From a free online dictionary "dray (dr ). n. A low, heavy cart without sides, used for haulage"
When you mention a dray I think of a flat lorry like this:-
Coal-merchant's Cart Ref:SH-S22 http://www.scalelink.co.uk/acatalog/Shi ... scale.html
(but without the board up the middle)

I made this today. The dray is indeed a flat bed.
Thank you for the other ideas, but they are not the ones, so the search goes on . . . and on . . .

Re: Horse drawn delivery dray
David - I have a contact in the whitemetal vehicle area who has expressed an interest in commissioning a replica of that Pendon product (which I think we can assume has long since been unavailable). Could you supply a few dimensions:
- wheel diameter
- wheel 'track gauge'
- body height from floor
- body width and length
- yoke arm length
- spring length
