Do you want Ultrascale wheels?

It's a comment often made, that Society members would love to use Ultrascale wheels for their models, if only there wasn't such a waiting time for them. Of course, this is the unfortunate side effect of the quality of the wheels themselves, and the time that production of them takes.

But now, for some of the most popular wheel sizes at least, there is an "off the shelf" supply available.

We've been informed by Ultrascale that they are able to supply from stock wheels for 18.83 of the following sizes:

Driving wheels
6'9" LMS 21 Spoke 14"c/t c.b.s. STANIER - 18.83

5'2" GWR 16 Spoke 10"c/t c.b.s. - 18.83

5'2" GWR 16 Spoke o.s.f. - 18.83

These wheels will be supplied with steel tyres - to meet another popular request from members.

So if you have a project just about to start, or an unmade kit tucked away in a bottom drawer, or simply the idea of wheels in the correct size being available immediately motivates you to stock up for a future product, then please get your order in now.

This will help both you, and other P4 modellers, as it will enable Ultrascale to move on to producing other wheel sizes and types to be available ex-stock. And of course the converse applies - if you wait too long, this batch will be gone...
