Contacting C&L Finescale

Postby Martin Kelly » Tue Apr 09, 2024 2:40 pm

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum but here goes...

I've tried several times recently to contact C&L via the contact form on their website: https://www.clfinescale.co.uk/contact-us and had no response.

Does anybody know if it even works? I'm trying to find out what stock they'll be bringing to the Calne show this coming weekend.

Hi Martin.
You may be better off trying to phone him, although his number is often engaged.
I have left messages in the past and he has not got back to me.
Regards
Tony.

Hi Martin

I bought some items from him ( Phil ) a few weeks ago. You need to call him anyway to get a price ( because the website doesn't always work out postage correctly ), before you order.

If you want to collect at the show you need to get the order in ASAP. Probably why he's busy . . .

That address is a mail box.

He also that recall gets rather poor phone reception/internet where he is located, which can slow his responces down somewhat, especially if he's prepping to go to a show at a given weekend.

Thank you all for your replies and suggestions.

It sounds like attempting to make contact via telephone is the best option so I'll give that a go.

Spoke to Phil by phone today to enquire about some details before placing an order. Ordered online then spoke to him again to arrange payment of a deposit (remainder to be paid on collection at a show in a month or so) Extremely helpful in both calls

Regards, Chris
