Following on from a kit for the LNWR 4ft Shunter 0-4-0 Saddle Tank (a big name for a very small loco) introduced last year, London Road Models have introduced a kit for the 0-4-2T Crane version. Essentially the same specification as the o-4-0T the new kit includes a cast, one piece resin boiler/saddle tank/smokebox/firebox including chimney, dome and safety valve , N/S and brass etches, brass and nickel silver castings, etc. as well as 3D printed gears for the crane. Further details and photo to follow when John Redrup provides them.
Priced at £135:00, the kits are now available, although John has not yet been able to update the S4 Society hosted LRM website to include the kit. A dedicated motor/gears pack is also available.
