Wild Swan have just published a new book by Giles Favell which might appeal to a few of you, a detailed how to do it for radio controlling his vehicles and cranes, and other projects too.
It includes a discussion of the general issues and principals and also the products and supplies used and where to get them. He also does a couple of locos, but doesn't go into the detail that Ted Scannell, for one, does on this aspect of radio control. Very well illustrated and detailed, with copious photographs sketches and diagrams.
£24.95 plus P&P, £4.25 within UK if purchased direct https://www.titfield.co.uk/Books/Model-Techniques-Construction-det.htm#5536, also available from your local or preferred railway bookseller.
