For lovers of the Cambrian Railway

Postby David B » Mon Mar 15, 2021 4:47 pm

I have been made aware of a new loco kit for the Cambrian - a Queen class loco:

There is also the latest catalogue from CamKits with details from where they can be bought:

Cor, I wish these had been around 30-40 odd years ago when I was contemplating a 'proper' Cambrian layout rather than a BR Western Region one. Even wagon lettering transfers were short on the ground back then.

Well isn’t that tempting! I’ve always had a soft spot for the Cambrian. Interesting to see how his range develops, maybe I will need to dig out those D&S Cambrian 45’ coach kits I bought 30 years ago...

I think I should have a large tin of Precision Cambrian coach green somewhere, probably unopened if it's still in my 'stash'. However, it may well have been 'passed on' via a sales stand many years ago!
