Eileens Emporium Newsletter October 2017

Postby derekrussan » Sun Oct 15, 2017 9:39 pm

Welcome to our latest newsletter.

Autumn is well and truly here and the clock will shortly change, which means more modelling time for us! We want to enhance you modelling experience, so read ahead as there will be something for everyone.

Not forgetting our many customers in the southern hemisphere, who are about to enjoy their summertime. We hope you are all keeping well and are looking forward to the summer, where it is still modelling time.

We have been adding many new products recently and they are proving extremely popular. Writing this newsletter showed us just how many we have added, and there are more to come.

The plans for the 4mm workshop at Wells Town Hall on 4th November have now come together. This will be a skill training day for all 4mm modellers as well as the AGM of the EM Gauge Society. The training and sales area will open be for all visitors, and not restricted to members. As always with Wells, there is an outdoor market in the square outside the Town Hall, so plenty for the other half to do. Please see http://www.emgs.org/wp-content/uploads/4mm-Workshop-Guide.pdf for flyer .

We will also be at Crewe on the same weekend. The long metal sections (500mm) will be at Crewe and the short ones (250mm)at Wells. Also the Plastruct will be at Crewe (Evergreen at both. Pre-orders are strongly recommended for both shows.

We also recommend pre-orders for the other shows where we have to be in two places at the same time, namely Manchester and Reading in December and Southampton and Bristol in January.

A list of exhibitions we will attend in the next few months are shown at the end of this newsletter, and the latest information is as always on our website: http://www.eileensemporium.com

Lots of new products are now in stock:

In addition to those already announced in the last newsletter we have:

Electrics have been expanded with Spiral Band for tidy wiring.

We are now stocking a large selection the Javis range of Scenics. If this proves successful we will expand the range.

Also now in stock are Flex-i-File products and Albion Alloys abrasive. Again the range will be expanded as we judge the sales.

We have all the available Smiths Couplings in stock, with new finescale versions of some of them on order. We also stock the range of W&T tarpaulins in all scales.

DCC Controls Track and Back to Back Gauges are in stock along with a selection of their Point Motors. Again please ask if there are other products in the range that you want.

Deluxe Roket Cyano Hot, Rapid and Max are added.

New paints from LifeColor, we have Stone Grey sets in stock and White Wood on order.

The Sparmax GP 50 Trigger airbrush is proving very popular, customers who try it at shows love it and at only £90 is very good value for money.

Evergreen T and Z sections are now available in the UK and we have all of these in stock. If you are at a show they hide in the side of the Evergreen rack by the HO sized strips.

Green Scenes Ballast is back available and we now stock all 3 scales in both Light Grey and Dark Grey colours.

We have added 0.25mm to our Dormer Drill range.

On the subject of new plastic section, we will soon have some sections that we have been asked for but previously been unable to get. These include Hollow Half Round (Guttering), Right Angle Triangular sections, Clear Rod and Tubes and maybe more. These are form the Maquett range.

As you may know we used to stock some lovely 4" Engineers files from Vallorbe, unfortunately they decided to stop making them (we still stock their 6", 8" and Needle files). We are replacing these with files from Presto, which should be in stock within about 2 weeks.

We are waiting for a delivery of Metal Sections that is a week overdue. Most are in stock, but a few items are on this shipment.

All Hold and Folds are now in stock.

We have run out of a few Vallorbe products and will have these in soon.

We have a special offer valid until the end of November 2017. We are offering 10% off New products. Specifically any product listed under "New Products" section on the products page of the website. This should include all the new products mentioned above, and may still include some from the previous newsletter. It will also include any new products added before the expiry of the offer. These offers are for retail sales only and are only valid for orders placed before the end of day on Thursday 30th November 2017. For all offers please enter NEWOFFER in the Coupon Box on checkout and do not forget to give the show name for collection in the comment box if appropriate.

Full details of all our other products are on our website.

Derek, Anita, Matt and Judith.
