The pre-order process seems to be becoming more popular and really saves a lot of queueing at shows. It is far quicker for everyone if the order is prepaid, so we have made a special offer this month on pre-paid show orders

The success of the last offer (200mm Brass Strips and sections) caused us problems at shows. What happened was that we found it very time consuming to apply the relevant discount at the show. So we have decided that any order for a show collection to which a discount applies must be prepaid, or the discount will not be applied.

ATTENDANCE AT EXPO EM NORTH

Unfortunately Derek was not able to attend Expo North as planned for medical reasons. We are please to report that all is now fine and future plans are back to normal. We would like to thank all those who passed on their best wishes.

We are sorry to inform you that Antex and Slater's have both put some of their prices up recently.

TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED IRONS

We now have the delivery of TCS irons with digital display from Antex. This looks like a great improvement to the product. We have now sold out of the Low Temperature version of the TCS and as previously mentioned is no longer manufactured.

We have now added a lower cost alternative low temperature soldering station at £70.00. See SLDSTE

HOLD AND FOLD TOOLS

We have sold most of the Hold and Fold tools mentioned in the last newsletter. As a reminder, we have been clearing out our stores and found some Hold and Fold tools that are being offered at 25% discount on the current price. Those with cosmetic marks are otherwise to full current specification for Gold Editions. The old designs are the silver model of the 8" where the head can be turned around after removal, but does not slide. The 8" are fitted with 3 screws and it is only the plates that are the old design.

This months special offer is to give a 5% discount for prepaid show orders. Payment will be taken as soon as the order is ready, irrespective of the show date. The code for this is 5%SHOW.

Last months product special offer of 50% off all 200mm long Brass Strips and Sections is extended. Many are sold out, but this offer applies while stocks last. These are end of line and will not be restocked (we have standardised on 250mm and 500mm lengths), so when they are gone, they are gone! This does not apply to other materials of other lengths or materials. The code for this is 200AUG15, Now valid until End October 2015. This offer includes orders for show collection, but only if prepaid.

Forthcoming Exhibitions:

Manchester are re-introducing a city center show this year on 5/6 December. We are pleased to be able to attend and support this show. However, it does clash with the Reading O Gauge show (5 December), so the stock we will have at Manchester will be limited. Pre-ordering is advised.

Do not forget you can beat the queues at shows by pre-ordering through the website. There is a checkout option for this. You can choose to pay through the website or on collection. Please state in the 'Comments' box which show you wish to collect the order from.
