The summer holidays are nearly upon us. We will not be closing during the summer and do not expect our service to be affected much by the holidays.
NEW PRODUCTS
We have been asked a number of times for drills smaller than 0.3mm, so we now have in stock Carbon Steel Drills in 0.2mm (DRCM020) and 0.25mm (DRCM025) at £1.20 each (£10 for packs of 10 with suffix T). These are priced the same prices as all our other Carbon Steel Drills.
Another item we are often asked for is Heat Shrink Tubing. In stock we now have 1.2mm and 1.6mm tube in both Red and Black. These have a 2:1 shrink ratio making the 1.2mm ideal for 10/0.1 wire and the 1.6mm ideal for 7/0.2 wire. They are sold in packs of 1m length of any one item, or a mixed bag with 2 short 50mm lengths of each of the 4 types. All packs are £1.20 and part numbers start HST. If these go well we will consider extending the range.
At shows we get requests for connectors suitable for Loco to Tender connection, Coach to Coach and similar applications. We have sourced some miniature 2 and 4 way connectors which are ideal for this type of use. The 2 way connector dimensions are approx. 5.5mm x 2.6mm with an overall length of approx. 17.5mm when connected. The 4 way is the same, but 10.5mm wide. The part numbers are ELCOM2 and ELCOM4. Each pack of 1 plug and 1 socket costs £0.80.
Many customers have commented that using a slitting disk for cutting track is difficult, because the approach angle is quite steep as the body of the drill increases the angle. We now have stocks of a 40mm large diameter diamond disc (DISDW40). These discs come complete with mandrel and cost £5.00.
Our range of Deluxe products has also increased. We have added:
Deluxe Roket Cyano Glue Gel
Deluxe Track Magic
We already stock Tacky Wax, Roket Card Glue, Roket Plastic Glue, Plastic Magic, Super 'Phatic Glue and the Pin Flow applicator.
NEO AIRBRUSHES
The Airbrush Company have informed us that the Neo CN and Neo BCN airbrushes will go up on 1st July by approx.10%. We will continue to offer 10% off list price. We have limited stocks at the old price and the offer will apply to the old price until the end of June while stocks last only (as we are unable to buy anymore at the old price). The offer will continue after 1 July based on the new price.
The TRN range and other popular airbrushes are not affected.
STOCK LEVELS
The only new problem is M2 and M2.5 threaded rod. Our previous suppliers have no stock and we are virtually out of stock of all of them and currently have no viable source.
All items previously mentioned in newsletters are now in stock as follows:-
Maun Pliers
All High Speed Drills (Dormer Branded - A100 type)
10BA taper taps from Apex
10thou Nickel sheet.
SPECIAL OFFER
This months special offer is 5% discount on the web price for all orders containing a single item priced at £45 or over (£37.50 if VAT free for export). The discount does not apply to the Post and Packing element of the order.
As an example, if you order an Iwata CN airbrush (before 30th June) at £49.50 and a selection of nuts and bolts you will get 5% discount off all items in the order.
Please note we have a limited number of Neo CN airbrushes available at the pre-increase price, if ordered before 30th June. Once these are sold we will have to charge a discounted price based on the new recommended price. If we receive more orders, at the current price, than we have stock for, we will contact customers before taking payment. This applies to both Brushes and Airdeals (Brushes with compressors).
This offer is for web orders only and includes those for show collection. Please enter "SUMMERSPECIAL" in the comments box on checkout. Please do not use the discount code box as this does not work. This applies to all orders placed before the end of August 2015. The discount will not show on our web system, but will be taken from the payment and show on the formal invoice shipped with the goods.
Full details of all our other products are on our website.

Forthcoming Exhibitions:
Manchester are re-introducing a city centre show this year on 5/6 December. We are pleased to be able to attend and support this show. However, it does clash with the Reading O Gauge show (5 December), so the stock we will have at Manchester will be limited. Pre-ordering is advised.
Do not forget you can beat the queues at shows by pre-ordering through the website. There is a checkout option for this. You can choose to pay through the website or on collection. Please state in the 'Comments' box which show you wish to collect the order from.
Please allow at least 1 week for pre-orders, 2 weeks for Guildex - Telford, Scale Model World, Scaleforum, Railex, Expo EM, York and Warley.
