Easter is not far away, which as always means a trip to York for us and a couple of months of quality shows. We look forward to meeting friends, old and new, over the next few weeks.

If you have seen us since the summer, you will have noticed that we have now barcoded our stock. This has several benefits for both customers and us. Firstly, it enables us to confirm that the products you have picked are what you wanted. Secondly, it speeds up the time to serve a customer thereby reducing queues. It also reduces pricing errors and ensures our sums are correct. Finally it helps greatly with stock control so we can take steps to ensure we have good stock levels.

A lot has been happening in the last few weeks at Eileen's. All of the promised new products are now on the website and several more too, take a look at the shows or on the website.

NEW PRODUCTS

We now have in stock the Green Scene track Ballaster. If you have seen a demo of these at shows then you know how good they are. We have them in 00/H0, EM, P4, N and 0.

Also recently added is Cork Sheet in 2 widths and 3 thicknesses.

We have extended our range of switches to include 4 pole switches.

Baseboard Dowels are now on the website, as is a suitable 1" Forstner bit.

Also recently added are Plastruct Stairs, Ladders etc in larger scale sizes.

SHOW PRE ORDER

We are seeing an increase in the number of show pre-orders, which is really good for both customers and ourselves. It ensures that there will be stock available and also allows you to pick up the order at a quiet time.

Pre-payment is not necessary, but it does enable a quick and simple handover. There is a path in the checkout process on the website for show collection, either pre-paid or not.

STOCK LEVELS

Brass Assists are now back in stock, see our special offer this month.

We have recently taken a delivery of M2 screws in various lengths, so they are available again.

Missing Eclipse saw blades are promised within 2 weeks.

Items that are on longer lead times and have been on order since before Christmas include:

1.5mm X 1.0mm and 1.5mm x 0.5mm Brass Tubes, our supplier has quoted about 2 weeks, but I have been given dates on these before so wait and see.

SPECIAL OFFER

This months special offer is 10% off all Hold and Fold products (including extra blades when ordered together) and on the Brass Assists. This offer is for web orders only, please enter "HOLDFOLD" in the comments box on checkout. Please do not use the discount code box as this does not work. This applies to all orders placed before 7 April to include show pre-orders for York. Do not forget you can beat the queues at shows by pre-ordering through the website. There is a checkout option for this. You can choose to pay through the website or on collection. Please state in the 'Comments' box which show you wish to collect the order from.
