The main holiday season is now over and we can tell from our order levels that many of you are returning to some serious modelling. With 3 specialist shows (Guildex, Expo EM North and Scaleforum) this month I am sure there will be a surge of refreshed activity.
NEW PRODUCTS
In response to requests from customers we have expanded some product ranges.
In the Electrical products we have added Hoods (Shells) for D type connectors and two designs of wire strippers.
In the paints range we now stock the individual colour's from the LifeColor Rail Weathering and Weathered Wood. We will soon add the colour's from the Shades of Black set.
TILL SYSTEM
As mentioned in our July newsletter, customers may have noticed at Perth and Wells that we are trialing a new till system. This should speed up service as well as help us with stock control. It will take a bit of getting use to so please be patient at the next couple of shows. We now have almost everything barcoded so will need to scan your purchases. This will reduce errors and hopefully speed up the service.
PRESENCE AT SHOWS
We have a well established range of shows that we attend and have no strong interest in either expanding or contracting the number of shows we attend. Circumstances can change the pattern, but we do not have any intention to attend more shows.
We are very conscious that some customers would like to see our products at more shows, so we have come to an agreement with C&L Finescale to enable this to happen.
Philip Reid is attending a number of shows, mostly in the home counties, representing C&L Finescale. We have agreed with both Phil, and Pete Llewellyn of C&L Finescale that Phil will start to carry a selection of our products to these shows. Initially, this will be items like wire, BA fasteners, Drills etc. It also gives us the opportunity to offer show collection at a broader range of shows, but in the case of these shows a full two weeks notice, and pre-payment will be required.
Phil will be at the following shows this year:
Woking REC 20-21 Sept 2014
Folkestone 4-5 Oct 2014
Uckfield 18-19 Oct 2014
Tolworth 8-9 Nov 2014

This months offer is a whopping 20% off wire products. This includes straight and coiled wires up to and including 1.0mm diameter. It excludes solder wire and electrical wire.
This offer is for web orders only, including those for show collection, please enter "SEPTWIRE" in the comments box on checkout. This applies to all orders placed before 30th September 2014.
