Soldering Course

We have now run our first training course and the customers seem to be very happy with the outcome. We now plan to run at least another 2 courses this year, but the dates are still to be decided.

We will cover: Using 188, 145 and 70 degree solders. Soldering for strength, soldering of cosmetic parts, avoiding excess solder, soldering white metal, solderingelectrical connections, rail droppers etc.

The courses will be held at weekends in the vicinity of Gloucester. The cost will be £60 per head, and any equipment used in the course will be offered to attendees at a discount.

You will be encouraged to bring your own tools and models, but equipment can be provided if required.

If you are interested please contact us to register your interest and give us some idea of your needs.

Sand Blasters

Deliveries of the new Sand Blasters (AIRSAND) have been delayed and it is now looking like they will arrive early February.

We now have stock of the abrasive material in 3 pack sizes, see AIRSAND1 (100g), AIRSAND2 (500g) and AIRSAND3 (1kg)

To get the full potential from these we are now stocking a more powerful compressor (AIRTWINCOMP) featuring twin pistons and a 3 litre tank at £125. We have reduced the prices of our Economy Compressor (was £75 including Hose, now £60 plus hose at £10). Delivery on all compressors is £10 UK Courier.

We have added 2 new shows to our calendar in the forseeable future.

Brighton Model World on 22/23/24 February is now on the list.

Also we will be attending a brand new show this year in Huntingdon, 9/10 March.
