Eileens Emporium Newsletter - November 2012

Postby derekrussan » Wed Nov 07, 2012 9:59 pm

New Products

We have a number of new products in this month. In response to customer demand we are now offering both Solder Paste and Power Flow Flux in syringe dispensers, allowing more precise placement.

We also have some new Sand Blasters (AIRSAND). These seem very well made and performed well under test last weekend during the East London Finescale show. Using a low pressure (about 15PSI) they remove lettering and logos from stock very easily and precisely. At high pressure (40PSI) they are great for cleaning up brass prior to painting, removing any sheen and providing a good surface for keying the paint. The box contains the Sand Blaster gun, a braided hose with inbuilt moisture trap, hanging bracket, facemask and abrasive material. The price is an amazing £38. We sold all we took to the show, and have just taken the whole stock from our suppliers, so we are not sure how long we will have stock for. We will be getting stocks in soon of abrasive material.

Back in stock after a long absence are the Watchmakers Vices and also the spare Base Plates.

Gift Vouchers

As Christmas is coming, we now offer gift vouchers in denomintions of £5, £10, £25 and £50, just search for GIFT

Prices

We have been hit by a number of significant price rises and are expecting more before long. Evergreen Plastics have already risen considerably, and we have had to raise our prices accordingly. We have seen that Slater's have increased their prices and our stocks are low and we have just placed an order, so we will have to increase our prices when the new delivery comes in. We will hold the current price for mail order until 14th November.

Special Offers

This months offer 25% off all non-standard lengths of BA screws. Standard lengths are 1/4", 3/8", 1/2" and 1". The offer applies to all other lengths, both 10 packs and 100 packs.
These offers are valid for web orders placed before the end of November, including those for show collection. To claim the discount please quote NOVOFFERS in the comments box on checkout. Do not use the discount coupon box as this does not work.

Postage

Thank you for your support with the changes. One small correction, Large Letters between 500g and 750g will be charged at £4.

Exhibition News

A reminder that we regret that we will not be able to attend Wakefield show 30 November - 1/2 December 2012 as the show has changed dates and clashes with Reading. We simply do not have the stock and manpower to cover 2 shows at the same time.
