LRM have just introduces a MR Coal Tar/Creosote Tank wagon ( although it is yet to appear on the website)
Introduced in 1893, several lasted into early BR days.
The kit has a turned tube tank with half etched rivetted overlays, etched supports, w-irons and brake gear, white metal castings for the tank ends,and underframe. Priced at £30:00, the kit is available at londonroadmodels@btinternet.com.

If you want to see the real thing, there's one at Swanwick Junction, Midland Railway Butterley.
Ordsall Road (BR(E)), Forge Mill Sidings (BR(M)), Kirkcliffe Coking Plant (BR(E)), Swanage (BR (S)) and Heaby (LMS/MR). Acquired Thorneywood (GNR). Still trying to "Keep the Balance".
