Hi
I am after some ply sleepers. Not the ones sold by society store with punched holes for rivets. I see that C & L have them on their website. However, I found a RMweb thread that seemed to cast some doubt on the proprietors reliabilty. At the end of the thread it seemed to me that things had improved. What is the current situation?

Give him a ring. Phil is a very agreeable chap. As I understand it, phoning is a better bet. Things were a little difficult for a while after taking over the firm. Now there are new items in stock.

I concur. Phil is a helpful chap and went out of his way For me last year. His turnout components are very nice. (Crossing Vs in particular).
For chairs it’s hard to beat Exactoscale - they have a wide variety of prototypes covered.
Some nice ply bases are still available from Timber Tracks:

I find the EBMA turnout bases available from the Society store very easy to work with.
