Excellent model of Barrow Road- back in the mid fifties a small hut was alongside the coal tower where a delightful man operated the working of the incoming loads to re fill the tower; he was always know as "Swivel". Happy Days at the Shed-Ray

Hi Ray,
Thank you for your kind comment about my layout and the interesting information about 'Swivel' How did he get that nickname? I assume from your comments you were an employee at the shed - what did you do?
I have contact with Donald Flook who used to work in the workshop in the early to mid fifties and also Bill Deardon.

Kind regards,

Robin
