Could anyone tell me what happened to the layout Wheatstone? Is it still around?

Hi Alan,
Whetstone, not Wheatstone, GCR, was one of my all time favourite layouts. It was at Scaleforum at City University in 1986.

See: Disused Stations

I never saw it again and heard that it had ended up dumped in a skip. I don't know if that's true or not.

All the Best
Danny

Hi Danny.
Thanks for that.
I saw it at the same place. I had just come back from living in LA for 8 years and was blown away by how much the model railway scene had changed.
What a shame if the bin was it's end. I only saw it covered in the MRJ compendeum. Would have loved to see more coverage of it.
Thanks again.

Alan.
