Booking is now open for the Autumn Weekend and over half the places have gone already. There are still spaces available on all courses though some are filling up faster than others. There are some some bedrooms still available so if you want to stay on site and enjoy the social side of a Missenden weekend, don’t leave it too late to book. You can book on-line here.
The full list of courses is:
4mm Locomotive Kit construction - Tony Gee and Jerry Clifford
7mm Locomotive Kit construction - Kevin Wilson
Introduction to DCC - Pete Brownlow
Track Building and Laying - Norman Solomon
Improving Ready To Run Rolling Stock & Kits - Karl Crowther
Weathering - Andrew Thompson and Chris Hopper
Details for the weekend can be found on the Missenden website.
This ws to have been Mick Bonwick's final Weekend before he retired. Following his untimely death, the Weathering course will focus on non-airbrushing with Andrew 'Kiwi' Thompson but if you have your own airbrushing equipment, Chris Hopper will be on hand to help. Any questions, please use the Missenden Contact page.
