Better late than never!!! A couple of videos taken last Saturday of Slattocks Junction in Manchester.
We wanted to record the moment as this was the most complete the layout has ever been in its long history!!
Enjoy

Same here and also to mirror Duncan's comments further up the thread. MMRS still innovating.
The PW train and Alpha Mill.
Can't wait to see it finished. I can just see Stanley Baker racing up that street in his cop car to raid a Pitch & Toss school.

Some Architectural modelling on Dewsbury Midland.
I'm minded of Albert Finney poking his air rifle out of his upstairs window (Saurday Night Sunday Morning) in this first pic.

Some lovely low-viewpoint shots there (we need more of those).
Alpha Mill is just gobsmacking.

Tony,
I enjoyed all the content from Slattocks and Dewsbury Midland plus the videos you posted https://www.scalefour.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=1877&start=50#p86407 today of Richard Dunning's locos.
Can I ask what the radius of the outside track is around the mill, the one the Schools class is going around?
thanks

Hi Richard
Its approximately 4' 6" but I think it goes slightly tighter towards the fiddleyard. Glad you enjoyed the video's. I know I've said this before but I'm itching to get some good quality video of the layout. I realise now that this won't be achieved until the backscene has been completed (and I use a decenbt camera) but the makeshift one put in place for last Saturday showed what may be possible!

Porcy has posted some great photos there at a low angle, thanks. Work is starting this coming week on getting some backscenes in place so that the shots should look even better before too long.
