Scaleforum 2018 Retrospective

Postby John McAleely » Sat Jun 22, 2019 9:33 am

I have the pleasure of sharing a retrospective of Scaleforum 2018.

Apologies for the slightly longer time spent putting this together.

Its been suggested to me in email that some of the pictures of Burnham On Sea are mis-identified. Looking more closely myself, I suspect I have mis-labelled:

https://www.scalefour.org/scaleforum/20 ... sea-4.html
https://www.scalefour.org/scaleforum/20 ... sea-9.html

These are probably not of Burnham On Sea at all. Can anyone identify the exhibit? Was it part of the West of Scotland getting started display?

These are Alan Goodwillie's 'Wemyss', part of the West of Scotland exhibit.

See the retrospective for Scalefour North 2018.

Quite correct. Love Alan's work on the Wemyss system, but these three are definitely interlopers in the Burnham section, an eventuality that obviously I must have anticipated at https://www.scalefour.org/scaleforum/2018/aroundtheshow/aroundtheshow-9.jpg -"What are those doing there?"

Thank you both. Hopefully now corrected!
