Forest of Dean MRC - Lydney Show

After a major rebuild and refresh the Glevum Group will be giving Brinkley it's first outing fully assembled in it's 38' length at the Lydney Model Railway Show. Since it appeared in the pages of Model Rail two baseboards have been scrapped and the loco shed area redeveloped on new and longer boards. The treatment of the scenic areas has been reworked using scenic products not available when the layout was first built and new bigger fiddle yards have been produced. The only thing not yet complete is a new lighting rig. The dates are the 29th and 30th September and the venue is the Dean Academy (formerly Whitecross School) GL15 5DZ.

Lydney has a station served by Arriva Trains Wales and also Cross-Country. Why not combine a visit to the show with a ride on the Dean Forest Railway. The Norchard is the main DFR station and now has a very good cafeteria, Whistles.
