Nottingham Exhibition Demo

Postby John H. Wright » Wed Mar 15, 2017 3:17 pm

Hello Boys,
Greetings from the People's Republic of Northumbria.

Once again it's the Nottingham Exhibition weekend and self will be doing the usual demo. But this year it will be P4.
Along with the demo stuff there will be a P4 rolling road and a metre of track ..... powered by a choice of DC or DCC. And anyone who brings a loco or two along for testing will be welcome to give it a spin.

I did ask Graham Clark, the exhibition manager, if the demo could be near or next to the Scalefour Stand which is there once again, as usual. But can't confirm if he has been able to do this. Hope to see some of you there.

Regards,
JHW

Hello John.
Not sure if you will be located near us but not to worry we 'll know where to come to heckle!

NAG has a stand, test track and a demo table, so the organisers have been most generous.
The test track can run 00, P4 and EM on the 8ft long straight dual gauge track and P4 through the turnouts. all can be controlled by analogue or DCC.

Our demo team for Saturday is Martin Nield on buildings in the morning and Tony Wilkins on soldered trackwork all day. On Sunday am we have David Clark on Easychas building and Tony all day on trackwork. Our newest member, Paul Morris will be running the test track on Saturday. Paul is a great asset as he is a professional trackwork designer. Another new member, Peter McFarlane will man the test track on Sunday.
So to all of you, do come along and heckle. Doubt if you will get the best of it though

Sorry to have hijacked your post John
Regards,
Ken
