First time I've been to the small and intimate show. Wonderful to see Mr Rice with Trerice, iconic P4. There was something there to please everyone, no matter which church you belonged to. It appeared that every finescale modeller was there from Reading to Carmarthen.
Well done Simon, superb day out. Already applied for time off for next years outing!

Indeed Mike a great day at a show totally unlike any other.
Superb catering from the lovely Lesley (Mrs Wild Swan) with a 'retiring room' upstairs to eat one's lunch with several very comfortable setees to fall asleep in!
It was good to see Iain in great form with what he says will be the last outing for the layout. Gordon G was there with his excellent trees and was showing static grass application. Jerry Clifford and John Greenwood were there with some of their beautiful 2mm stuff. Also on show were some very nice examples of coal fired G1 locos. Of note was 'Lamamie Engine Terminal' with it's huge 'Big Boys' and 'Centennial' diesel.
Always worth noting in diary for next year.
Some phone snaps.
